R.I.P Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009

Rest in Peace to Michael Jackson (1958-2009). I know I don't really have to explain to anyone how much of iconic figure that Michael Jackson was. He is the originator of the current format for just about any musical act in modern pop music. He is the greatest of all time. You will be missed.

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton

When I first saw these joints a few months ago I thought they were a little questionable, but now they have definitely grown on me. I appreciate the fashion forward approach they took with these. They have that appeal that makes bystanders do a double take as you pass by. Props to Kanye for actually being respected by Louis Vuitton. It's about time they reached out to our culture in a positive manner.

Nike "Swooshless" Blazer

I am not mad at these at all!!!! I am loving how Nike can take a design that has almost been beaten into the ground and refresh it with subtle alterations. Case in point, the above "Swooshless" Blazer (I'm not sure if thats the official name). These grey nubuck sneakers sport a patent leather lining and a very distinct NIKE text logo replacing the swoosh. Me likey!!!! Shout to stuffflypeoplelike.com and theshoegame.com for the pic.

This is a nice new model from our folks over at Nike. It's the Auto Flight in an dominantly infra-red color way with slight accents of black and yellow. These are a pretty good look for the summer. Shouts to nicekicks.com for the pic.

6 Degrees TV Ep: 1 Tabi Bonney x D-Stacks Live in Boston

The Back Row Presents 6 Degrees TV Episode 1. 6 Degrees TV is a video blog that The Back Row created to chronicle the creation of our first album "6 Degrees of Separation" as well as our day-to-day struggle to get to the top. The first episode documents our trip to Boston to see an artist that we produce for by name of D-Stacks open up for Tabi Bonney live in Boston. We went promo hopping with Tabi Bonney and Fritz Promo (myspace.com/promofritz) to a few boutiques in the Boston area such as Karmaloop and The Bodega, and kicked it back stage and with Promo Fritz. Make sure you check out D-Stacks performing with his live band named Money To Burn and Tabi performing with the Beat Yo Feet Kings.
